(UOG Network) Legislative College Intern

This internship opening is provided and posted on behalf of the Office of Senator Vincent Borja. 

About: Senator Vince Borja is a committed public servant and a respected member of the 38th Guam Legislature, known for his dedication to enhancing the educational, economic, and social fabric of Guam.

Prior to his tenure in the legislature, Senator Borja enriched his diverse career portfolio by serving as a Career Education Teacher, where he played a pivotal role in shaping young minds. His entrepreneurial drive led him to establish the GU Digital Marketing Agency, leveraging his skills to bolster local enterprises.

A veteran with a distinguished military background, Senator Borja applies the discipline and leadership skills he acquired in service to his legislative duties. His military experience underpins his strong advocacy for veterans’ affairs, where he actively champions better support and resources for veterans.

In the legislature, Senator Borja is a proactive lawmaker, focusing on initiatives that promote sustainable economic growth, enhance educational opportunities, and improve government transparency and efficiency. 

Position Title: Legislative College Intern

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Assist with research on bills, policies, and community issues 
  • Draft memos, summaries, and communications 
  • Support hearings, meetings, and legislative sessions 
  • Help with constituent outreach and casework 
  • Assist with community events and office projects 
  • Perform basic administrative and data entry tasks 
  • Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and teamwork

This is an unpaid internship; however, Internship for course credit is available.
