Preferred Qualities:

  • Knowledge of multiple sports is a plus
  • Passion in the subject of sports, capturing details

Preferred Skills (Soft and/or Technical):

  • Proficient writing skills, particularly journalistic writing
  • Able to use social media to disseminate and share information
  • Basic familiarity with photography / videography equipment and concepts

Roles and Responsibilities 

  • Assist with Content Creation:
    • Observe, draft, and produce reports for local sporting events
    • Take pictures of highlights during sporting events using photography or video equipment
    • Edit and refine photographs and videos for web platforms
    • Upload content to media outlets to increase engagement
