Jr. Accountant

JOB SUMMARY
Primarily responsible for the PFC finance Accounts Payable functions. In charge of CIC, CHLLC and CFRT recording of transactions and financial reports.

ACCOUNTS PAYABLE
  • Review, verify invoices and assign related GL codes for the charges. Routes to Accounting Manager and Chief Financial Officer for approval.
  • Input into the Accounts Payable system weekly or as needed. Print check payments after review and routes to authorized check signers.
  • Release signed checks per vendor preference. Transmit documents to Imaging department and file accordingly.
  • Prepare necessary Journal Entries
 
ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLES
  • Create Land Lease Invoices using the Quick book system.
  • Follow up payments of outstanding Land Lease receivables
 
GENERAL LEDGER  
  • Prepare necessary journal and adjusting entries
  • Prepare monthly reconciliation of Bank accounts and other General Ledger accounts
  • Review and prepare monthly financial reports.
 
OTHERS
  • Prepare GRT remittance and Quarterly Income Taxes timely.
  • Assist in monthly Fixed Assets Physical Inventory.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Accounting Manager
  • Will be cross train with other accounting duties with other subsidiaries.
  
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting
  • At least (1) year or longer accounting work experience is highly desired.
 
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  • Knowledge of and experience with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Must be highly proficient with Microsoft Office Applications with advanced skills in Excel.
  • Knowledge with Quick books accounting System.
