Marketing and Social Media Intern

Learning Stipend - $500 (to be awarded upon completion of the internship period)
 

MARKETING DUTIES

  • Assist in the coordination and execution of special events and promotions.
  • Assist in the creation of catalog, e-mail campaigns, online promotion, etc.
  • Take photos of events for posting and reporting purposes.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm and develop new marketing strategies.
  • Support the team in other marketing initiatives and projects as needed.
  • Participate in community management tasks, such as engaging with followers, answering queries, and fostering a positive online community.
  • Conduct research to identify industry trends, competitor activities, and customer
  • preferences.
  • Conduct research on competitors and measure the success of their strategies.
  • Provide coverage in the GPO Management Office when needed.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

SOCIAL MEDIA DUTIES

  • Assist with creating, developing, and managing social media content that engages, builds, and improves relationships with customers across social media platforms.
  • Identify, interpret, and capitalize upon social media trends.
  • Practice developing and maintaining a monthly content calendar to plan website, blog, and social media posts.
  • Monitor and analyze social media metrics to track the success of campaigns and make data-driven decisions
  • Use Google Analytics and other tools to measure the success of digital marketing
  • strategies.
  • Provide reports with statistics and results for each social media account created.
  • Keep track of social media competition.
  • Stay updated on the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices.
  • Conduct competitor analysis to identify opportunities for improvement.
