Engineering Intern
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct research and field site visits and assist with data collection
- Perform data analysis and record searches
- Prepare spreadsheets and data reports
- Review maps and GIS data, review submittals for compliance with specifications and design drawings
- Attend meetings and search for as-builts
Who We're Looking For:
- 6 Engineering Interns
- Students majoring in Civil Engineering and Construction Management
- Have some familiarity or working knowledge of environmental, civil, mechanical, and electrical engineering
Preferred Qualities:
- Results oriented with self initiative to complete tasks
- Great organization skills
- Time management
Preferred Skills:
- Computer literacy skills: Word, Excel, Powerpoint or similar programs
Duration and Time Commitments:
- Continuously Open for Academic Year & Summer
- Part-Time / Full-Time Internship
You Can Gain:
- Real world experience in working for a municipal utility engineering department – knowledge of water utility engineering practices and processes, knowledge of project design and construction practices
- Paid Internship (provided that student is able to meet minimum qualification requirements)
